Our Summer Season is a chance for our students to take part in a full length production.
2020 SUMMER SEASON
THIS YEAR we will be doing two plays for our Summer Season:
Daisy Pulls It Off by Denise Deegan
Our Country’s Good by Timberlake Wertenbaker
All performances will take place at The Hope Street Theatre 3rd–6th September 2020
Once you sign up for the course you are guaranteed a speaking part in one of the plays (you must be willing to be in either play as the directors will decide on the casting once we have done the auditions).
There are only 25 places on the course, and these will be offered on a first come, first served basis.
The course costs £150. You pay a deposit when you register and make two more payments during the course in June and July.
Auditions will take place on Sunday 5th July (it’s OK if you can’t make this date just let us know and we’ll organise something)
As mentioned above, once you book a place on the course you are guaranteed a speaking part in one of the plays, the casting will take place after the audition date. If you’re unable to make the audition date let us know and we will make alternative arrangements.
Rehearsals will start on July 19th they will then take place on evenings and weekends and will be scheduled around your availability (to the best of our ability). You can choose whether you would like to rehearse: Once a fortnight, Once a week, More than once a week.
*It is still possible to go on holiday and be involved in the production. Availability will, of course, inform our casting process.
