Ellie Hurt

Ellie graduated from John Moores University with a First Class BA (Hons) in Drama. She has since become a Young Director at the Liverpool Everyman & Playhouse. Her most recent experience as an Assistant Director has included working on the new Everyman REP company’s first production,Fiddler on the Roof directed by Gemma Bodinetz. In addition, she has recently worked with the final year actors at Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts, and with Off the Ground Theatre on their last two international tours.

Director credits include: Frankenstein (Liverpool Everyman Studio as part of the Liverpool Literary Festival); More Light, (Liverpool Everyman Studio); Anne Frank (St George’s Hall); The B File (The Everyman Young Directors Festival).

Assistant Director credits include: Fiddler on the Roof (Liverpool Everyman); Mary Barton (Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts); Zorro (Off the Ground Theatre); The Environmentalists (Young Everyman Playhouse); The Wonderful World of Dissocia (Young Everyman Playhouse); The Musketeers (Off the Ground Theatre); The Bells (Hazard Theatre).
