Robyn Moore moved to Liverpool from London 6 years ago.
Recent theatre includes: “BrightSparks” Unity Theatre, Liverpool, “Welcome to Shangri La” at The Hope Mill Theatre, Manchester and Lucy Prebble’s “A Very Expensive Poison” at The Old Vic Theatre, London. Robyn has also appeared at The National Theatre in “Scenes from an Execution” and in Ken Campbell’s “Macbed”. Other credits include “Faust Parts 1& 2” and “Morte D’Artur” both for David Freeman at The Lyric Hammersmith, “The Weavers” at The Gate (Notting Hill) and “My Mother said I Never Should” for the Oxford Theatre Company on tour and at The Young Vic Theatre, London for Dominic Cooke. Also touring with the CTC as Laura in “The Glass Menagerie” and most recently with “Our Big Land” on tour and at The Oval Theatre, London.
Robyn’s many London Fringe appearances include: “Effie’s Burning” at The Etcetera, Cleopatra in “Anthony and Cleopatra at The Battersea Arts Theatre, Gertrude in “Hamlet” & Mrs Hardcastle in “She Stoops to Conquer” both at The John Lyon Theatre and Prospero in “The Tempest” at St. Giles-in-the-Field. Also three times at The White Bear with “Wittgenstein’s Daughter” (Title role), “The Ides of March” and with her directorial debut “Othello” also playing Brabantia.
Extensive television appearances include series regular roles in “Family Affairs” as Maggie Roswell (1999) and in “EastEnders” as Shirley Benson (2003 & 2004). Robyn has guest starred in “Law and Order UK”, “Waking the Dead”, “Holby City”, “Poirot”, “Resnik”, “Doctors” (several times), “Casualty” (twice), “The Bill” (several times), “Call Red”, “She’s Been Away”, “Touching Evil”, “Tough Love”.
Robyn has been teaching Acting for 30 years in London at The City Lit, The international School of Screen Acting, STARTEK, The Actor’s Guild, in several schools (Primary and Secondary) and in many prisons. She recently directed final year Liverpool Theatre School students and will direct one of the 2024 MAD Summer Season plays.
