Suzanne trained at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester before going on to join the D’Oyly Carte Opera Company. With the D’Oyly Carte she toured the UK, America, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.

After leaving the D’Oyly Carte, Suzanne went on to play leading roles in theatre & pantomime. She still appears from time to time on stage as a principal member of the Magic of Gilbert & Sullivan, most recently, performing at The Barbican in London.
