If you’re keen to build on the Acting for Beginners course or have some previous performance experience, Intermediate Acting is for you.
Intermediate acting script analysis is suitable for you if you have acted before and are ready to learn how to analyse a script and develop a character.
Some of the things we do on the course include: learning techniques to analyse and breakdown a text, improvisation and character work to develop and deepen performance skills. Classes cover a wide range of theatrical disciplines.
At the end of the 10 weeks participants will have the opportunity to perform a short piece in The Hope Street Theatre.

| Social Distancing | Please note that this course will take place online via zoom. Due to the current coronavirus pandemic and the social distancing measures we need to put in place our Autumn term this year will look a little different to usual. Please note the following changes we have made to help keep our students safe: (1) Classes will be 90 minutes long and start times will be staggered; (2) There will be less students in each class (maximum of 8) in order to enable social distancing; (3) There will be additional material offered online in order to support the learning; (4) Depending on advice the showcase performance may be filmed or have reduced capacity for audience in order to adhere to social distancing requirements. |
