Discovered on at just 12 years old, Canadian singer Justin Bieber landed a record deal with Island Def Jam with the help of mentor Usher. Bieber’s debut single, “One Time,” was an international success, as was his 2009 EP, My World, which quickly launched him into teen heartthrob status. As Bieber Fever took the world by storm, he released his first studio album, My World 2.0, which debuted at the top of the Billboard charts and featured collaborations with Ludacris and Sean Kingston. Bieber has released a total of six studio albums and is one of the best-selling artists of all time. He has eight No. 1 hits on the Billboard Hot 100, including “Stay,” “Despacito,” “Sorry,””Love Yourself,” “Peaches,” “Stuck With U,” “What Do You Mean?” and “I’m The One.” He won his first Grammy Award with “Where Are Ü Now” in 2016 and took home another for “10,000 Hours” in 2021. In January 2014, Bieber was arrested for driving under the influence in Miami. Six months later, he was arrested in California for vandalism. Bieber began dating Selena Gomez in 2011. The couple split in November 2012 before getting back together and breaking up again in 2014. Bieber was briefly linked to Sofia Richie before rekindling his on-off relationship with Gomez in November 2017, The twosome split for good in March 2018. Following the end of his relationship with Gomez, Bieber reconnected with Hailey Bieber (née Baldwin), whom he previously dated from 2015 to 2016. The duo got engaged in July 2018. They secretly tied the knot at a New York City courthouse in September 2018 and hosted a second wedding ceremony in South Carolina in September 2019.
