Despite small and compact design, the A6400 mirrorless camera delivers the speed and performance of a full frame camera. Unleash your creative potential with features such as AI-powered autofocus, high precision real-time tracking, high speed continuous shooting up to 11 frames per second and 4K HDR movies. This kit includes a 16-50mm power zoom lens, and the A6400 is compatible with all of Sony's E-Mount lenses.

Superb 24.2MP image quality
An APS-C size, 24.2 megapixel Exmor CMOS sensor provides wide sensitivity range and excellent low-noise performance. Together with a new generation BIONZ X processor, it delivers high resolution images with superb clarity and texture reproduction. Maximum ISO sensitivity of 32000 produces clean, high sensitivity images when shooting in low light.

4D Focus for accurate subject tracking
With Sony's 4D Focus tech, fast and accurate autofocus lets you capture fleeting moments in detail. A total of 425 phase-detection AF points work in conjunction with contrast-detection AF to achieve up to 0.02second speed, while High-density AF Tracking Technology follows even erratically moving subjects. Highly accurate autofocus works in dim lighting, and Enhanced Real-time Eye AF supports portrait shooting.

4K movies
Make ultra high definition 4K movies with HDR. Sony's S-Gamut/S-Log system amplifies all the different colour shades to make each frame more expressive, while Slow & Quick Motion recording and Time-lapse features create extra-dramatic clips. Fast hybrid AF keeps focus smooth and steady in movie footage.

Tiltable touch monitor, OLED viewfinder
The 3 180° tilting rear screen flips up 180-degrees and down 74, so you can shoot from more difficult and dynamic perspectives. And it offers a variety of intuitive touch operation, including Touch Pad, Touch Focus, Touch Shutter, and Touch Tracking. The OLED viewfinder features real-time data and 100% coverage.

Solid, intuitive interface
The sturdy magnesium alloy body is dust and moisture resistant, and has an ergonomic grip so your hand will mould around it comfortably. Each of the camera's eight keys and controls can be assigned to any of the 89 functions, so you can tailor the set-up to your needs.
