This smart home hub from ZemiSmart is a Zigbee controller certified to work with Apple HomeKit to control devices locally or remotely via the Apple Home App. The ZemiSmart hub is easily added as a bridge in the Home app using the included QR code and individual Zigbee devices and sensors are added to the hub via the Tuya Smart Life app. Local and remote control of Zigbee devices paired with the hub is also available through the Tuya Smart Life app without HomeKit. The hub is Zigbee 3.0 compatible, but as some manufacturers use custom Zigbee device parameters they may be missing some features or functionality. To guarantee compatibility ZemiSmart recommend using ZemiSmart branded Zigbee devices and checking their compatibility list to ensure they can be exposed to HomeKit. About HomeKit: To use HomeKit requires a compatible iPhone or iPad. For remote control, a HomePod, HomePod Mini, iPad, or Apple TV is required and must be set to act as a HomeKit bridge and available on the same network as the device being controlled.
