SpeakClearly 2 is a follow on course for those who have taken part in SpeakClearly. The course is offered to those who have English as a second language who wish to soften their accent and develop the sounds associated with Standard English. The course is held weekly over eight weeks and will involve working on vocal exercises to improve speech and diction. The sessions include breathing exercises, articulation exercises such as tongue twisters and speech rhymes as well as focussing on how to form certain sounds with the lips and tongue. Participants will be given text to work on across the eight weeks in order to measure improvement.
