Daytime Drama is a mixed ability acting class designed to hone your skills and give you the opportunity to develop your technique.
It is suitable for all experience levels.
Students will learn how to approach a piece of text and work on a short scene or monologue for performance at a theatre venue at the end of the 10 week course.
This class is for beginner actors who want to learn more, hone their skills and have fun.
The course is suitable for you if you are new to acting or if you have done some acting before and would like to build your confidence.
We’re looking for people who just want to ‘have a go’. Meet like minded people and discover together the unique experience of performance. Taking place on a Thursday lunchtime over ten weeks, Acting for Beginners is a practical introduction to acting in a fun and supportive atmosphere.
Sessions include: drama games, improvisation, characterisation and text work. At the end of the course, you will have the opportunity to take part in a short in-house performance.
