The course is suitable for you if you have completed our beginners course or have some experience of acting. It is also suitable if you have lots of experience of acting but none with Shakespeare.
Maybe you fancy yourself as the next Judi Dench or maybe you want to erase memories of deadly English classes and see what all the fuss is really about.
This ten week course is totally practical and gives you a good grasp of several plays, teaches you how to analyse the text and most importantly, to speak Shakespeare’s amazing words with skill and confidence. Who doesn’t want to casually whip out a few lines in a party!
These hugely fun Sessions include: Lightning Plots, Feeling the Pentameter, Oppositions, Imagery, Characterisation and Scene Work. At the end of the course, you will have the opportunity to take part in a short in-house performance with your own Shakesperean Speech!
