What’s your refund and deferral policy?

A woman is calculating expenses using a calculator and papers at her desk.

We’re fair, clear, and upfront. Here’s exactly how we handle changes — so you know where you stand before booking.

If you cancel 14+ days before your course starts

You’re entitled to a refund minus a non-refundable deposit (usually £25–£35).

That deposit helps cover admin and holds your place. It’s non-refundable in all cases.

If you cancel less than 14 days before the course

We don’t offer refunds — but you may be eligible for a deferral or course credit in exceptional circumstances.

Deferrals — moving to a future course

We offer deferrals for serious illness, injury, or bereavement — with appropriate documentation.

If approved, we’ll move your booking to another course in the same category.
Deferrals are valid for up to 9 months from your original course date.

Course credit

If a refund or deferral isn’t possible, we may offer a one-off credit — valid for any course within 12 months of issue.

What doesn’t qualify for refund or credit?

We can’t offer refunds or credits for:

  • Work or rota changes
  • Holidays or travel plans
  • Double bookings or changes of mind

That’s because your place affects tutor planning, group size, and venue costs — and each course is designed with care.

What if I just miss a week or two?

That’s completely normal. You won’t need to cancel or defer. Read our full article here: What if I miss a class?

Need to talk it through?
