Yes — if you’ve got the time and energy, you absolutely can.
Each term, a few students ask if they can enrol on two MAD courses at the same time. And the short answer is: yes. There’s no rule against it — and some combinations work really well together.
How it works
- You can take more than one course — as long as they’re on different days
- Most courses run once a week — either 2 or 3 hours per session
- Each course is booked separately and charged at full price
- No limit — but we usually suggest a maximum of two per term
Popular combinations
- Any acting course + a writing course
Great if you want to develop both performance and storytelling skills - Script Analysis or Finding the Truth + Acting for Camera
Combine screen work with deeper character development - Acting for Sitcom + Writing for Comedy
A lively mix for anyone who enjoys timing, dialogue and fun
How much time will I need?
- Courses are usually 8 or 10 weeks long
- One session per week per course
- Each session lasts 2 or 3 hours
Depending on the course, you might also be asked to:
- Learn a short script
- Bring in prep material or ideas
- Do light work between sessions (15–30 minutes)
It’s manageable for most people — but worth considering before you book.
Is there a discount for doing two?
No — each course is priced individually. Most fall between £99 and £160 per term, and we keep costs as accessible as possible.
Even without a discount, taking two courses at MAD is often cheaper than one full course elsewhere.
