Writing Comedy – where to start? What exactly is comedy in the writing world? The difference between sitcom and sketch, comedy drama and drama with humour.
We’ll look at comedy for tv, radio and theatre. Comedy characters and dialogue. So bring your comedy chops and best funny stories.
There will be a showcase of work at the end of the course.
This is an intermediate course. Writers must have attended a beginners course or have experience.

Alongside our Core Acting Pathway, we also offer a range of other acting courses. These courses can be taken alongside or after completing our Core Acting Pathway. You should have taken Beginners or have some previous experience before taking one of these courses.
Our Core Writing Pathway
Our Core Writing Pathway is made up of five courses, Writing for Performance (Beginners), Writing Screen, Writing Radio, Writing Theatre, Writing Comedy. You start with the Writing for Performance course and then can take any of the other courses in any order.
